Der Patterdale Terrier ist eine seltene englische Jagdhundrasse,sie stammt aus dem Lakeland Distrikt.Die kleinen Terrier haben etwa die gleiche Größe wie der Jack Russel,besitzen aber längere Laufknochen.Angenehm im Wesen sind die kleinen Racker sehr temperamentvoll und wollen beschäftigt werden,sie sind keine Hunde für Stubenhocker! Sie lieben lange Wanderungen,Sport und Spiel wie z.B.Agility,Flyball usw.Es sind besondere Hunde für Freaks,die kernige,robuste Hunde lieben! Richtig Gas geben Patterdales auf ihrem Spezialgebiet,der Jagd.Dort zeigt sich die Qualität der Hunde.
