My parents had Airedales before they had children (my Father swears if he knew then what he knows now he would have just had Airedales). The result of my parents love of Airedales, is that there has always been at least one (and often more) Airedale in my life.Although I have been involved with the breed all my life, I haven’t bred a lot of litters in the twenty years that I have been breeding. I tend to breed a litter when I want something for my breeding program. I am extremely particular about health issues and avail myself of whatever genetic testing is currently available to try to insure that I am breeding the soundest dogs possible. I try in my breeding program to adhere to the which is the «specification» of what points an Airedale needs to have to be an Airedale.My dogs, although they all have their championships are housedogs and pets. I try to encourage their hunting ability as that is what they where breed to do, although I myself are not a hunter.I currently owned by 3 Airedales and 1 Skye Terrier. The Airedales are Hydro (7 yr.), Glory (5 yr.) and Jet (3 yr.) and the Skye Terrier, Scuddie who was born in 1998.
